Working together for better cities

The Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement is a collaborative initiative within the framework of the Urban Agenda of the EU. It aims to bring together different stakeholders, including cities, regions, and national governments to promote innovative and responsible practices in public procurement.

The Urban Agenda Partnership promotes the use of public procurement as a strategic governance tool that helps institutions to achieve their broader urban policy objectives such as sustainability, social inclusion, and economic development. By promoting knowledge sharing, providing guidance and fostering collaboration, the partnership aims to leverage procurement as a tool to tackle complex urban challenges and drive positive societal outcomes.

Since 2017 the Urban Agenda Partnership developed and conducted specific actions which have been formulated in Action Plans that serve as guidance to achieve the Partnership’s goals.
