According to University of Twente public procurement experts Louise Knight, Klaas Stek and Esmee Peters, higher education can have a huge impact on the quality of procurement by public authorities.
As partner in the PROCEDIN consortium a lot of research has been done and reported regarding public procurement and education in the EU. The outcomes of this EU funded project can be found here.
The now published article is in Dutch (and can be translated via DeepL) and shows insights in the influence of (higher) education to public procurement skills and knowledge and expertise of qualified public procurers.
